<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new promotor enabling characteristic gene expression control; and to provide a method for specifically expressing a gene in a prescribed tissue in a plant body by using the promotor. <P>SOLUTION: The promotor contains one of the DNAs of (a) to (c): (a) a DNA comprising a specific base sequence; (b) a DNA having a base sequence obtained by deleting, substituting, inserting or adding one or several bases from, with or to the specific base sequence, and capable of regulating the transcription of the gene positioned downstream; and (c) a DNA of a DNA fragment capable of hybridizing with a DNA sequence comprising a base sequence complementary to the specific base sequence in a stringent condition, and capable of regulating the transcription of the gene positioned downstream. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
