<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a device for determining carbon dioxide emissions capable of promoting energy saving by letting each person know the environmental load value of each product as carbon dioxide emissions. <P>SOLUTION: The system for determining carbon dioxide emissions includes a process for storing in a memory area data on the amount of a carbon dioxide per unit amount that is discharged as each material burns; a process for calculating and inputting amounts of constituents of a particular product to a computing area; a process for multiplying the data on the amount of the carbon dioxide per unit amount by the amounts of constituents of the particular product in the computing area so as to calculate the carbon dioxide emissions that are caused as the particular product burns; a process for outputting the calculated carbon dioxide emissions; and a process for attaching the carbon dioxide emissions to the particular product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
