<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new manufacturing method to continuously manufacture a membrane electrode conjugate in a productive manner. <P>SOLUTION: The membrane electrode conjugate 1 is continuously manufactured using a web-type base material as tie by the following processes in this order; a process (zones A, B) to perform water repellent treatment to a base material 10 for web-type air pole side diffusion layer sent from an upper stream side to a down stream side, a process (a zone C) to form an air pole catalysis layer 3a by painting a catalysis ink 22 on an area 11 of the base material 10 where water repellent treatment is applied, a process (a zone D) to form an electrolytic film 2 by painting a catalysis ink by painting electrolytic solution 23 on the air pole catalysis layer 3a, a process (a zone E) to form a fuel pole catalysis layer 3b by painting a catalysis ink 24 on the electrolytic film 2, a process (a zone F) to form a fuel pole side diffusion layer 5b on the fuel pole catalysis layer 3b in this order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
