<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic dictionary which can search for collocation without users input of phrases. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic dictionary is provided with; a character input means to input character data; a display means by which character data is displayed; a dictionary memory means having a plurality of dictionary main parts which consist of translation corresponding to flag word and data for syntax search comprising collocation data corresponding to the flag word and its translation; an extraction means to extract the collocation data corresponding to the flag word inputted by the character input means from the dictionary memory means; and a display control means for displaying a list of the collocation data including the selected words from extracted collocation words in the display means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
