PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display which is further miniaturized and made thin, by supplying a driving signal to a liquid crystal display panel and supplying a lighting power source to a backlight, using a single flexible board. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display provided with the liquid crystal display panel 10, the backlight 30 and the flexible board 20 for control, including a signal line 21 for driving the panel and a power source line 22 for lighting the backlight, the flexible board 20 for control is provided with a first lead electrode part 23 for connecting the signal line 21 to a terminal part 12a and a second lead electrode part 24 drawn out from the power source line 22 and disposed on the terminal part 12a; a flexible board 32 for lighting having a third electrode part 33 superposed on the second lead electrode part 24 on the terminal part 12a is drawn out from the backlight 30; and the second lead electrode part 24 and the third lead electrode part 33 are connected via an anisotropic conduction adhesive means on the terminal part 12a.
