PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal base board with high architectural design efficiency as well as the increase of workability in the internal base board placed in a connecting section between a floor surface and a wall surface and formed by concavely pulling inward of the wall surface and provide an indoor space having high grade sense with high interior nature at a low cost by applying the internal base board. SOLUTION: The internal base board 1 placed in the connecting section between the floor surface and the wall surface and constituted of concavely pulling inward of the wall surface comprises a wall holding section 1a holding a wall substrate 2a projected in the horizontal direction from a vertical surface part, a recess section 1b formed in the vertical surface part of a lower position from the wall holding section and a floor inserting section 1c projected in the horizontal direction from the vertical surface part below the recess section 1b.
