PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper stock supply unit of a continuous pulper, capable of supplying the inside of the continuous pulper with a suitable amount of already-crushed paper stock timely. SOLUTION: This paper stock supply unit of the continuous pulper supplies paper stock 51 to the continuous pulper 1 which makes paper stock slurry having a prescribed concentration by mixing and agitating paper stock 51 with a solvent in a vertical cylindrical container 10, and defibrating the stock, and continuously discharges the slurry through a lower output port, wherein the paper stock supply unit has a crusher 30 which has a pair of rotary blades 31, 31 vertically arranged, crushes a bale 50 charged thereinto in a horizontal position by the blades, to form the already-crushed paper stock 51, and discharges the paper stock to an opposite side, a conveyor 40 which transports the already-crushed paper stock 51 discharged from the crusher 30 to a supply port 12 of the continuous pulper 1, and a thrust cylinder 42 which is positioned on a reverse side of the conveyor 40 across the crusher 30, so that the thrust cylinder 42 performs expanding and contracting action at prescribed timing so as to feed the bale 50 into the crusher 30.
