PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely remove oil drops from blow-by gas returned from a crank chamber to an intake system. SOLUTION: A crank case rotatably supports a crankshaft, and has a crank chamber 65 formed therein. A breather passage 83 is formed in the crank case. The breather passage communicates with a gas inlet port in which the blow-by gas from the crank chamber 65 flows, and an oil return hole 85 communicates with a lower part of the crank chamber 65. The blow-by gas passes through the breather passage 83 and then returns to the engine intake system through the gas inlet port 86. A spiral blade 87 is built into the breather passage 83 to separate the oil drops from the blow-by gas during passing through the breather passage 83. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
