<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patient-controlled analgesia apparatus, controlling the drug filling time in addition to additional dose of drug through a release valve while a very small quantity of drug is continuously injected through a flow rate control pipe. <P>SOLUTION: This patient-controlled analgesia apparatus includes: a reservoir 1 storing a drug solution in the pressurized state and letting the drug solution to flow in and flow out to and from a drug solution outflow part 2; a drug solution circulating tube 3 extended from the drug solution outflow part 2; a flow rate control device 4 disposed in the drug solution circulating tube 3 to control the flow rate of drug solution flowing out of the release valve opened with a fixed pressure to enable outflow of drug solution and the reservoir 1; a drug solution circulating tube 5 for additional dose branching from the drug solution circulating tube 3 between the reservoir 1 and the flow rate control device 4; a flow rate control device 4 disposed in the drug solution circulating tube 5 to control the flow rate of drug solution flowing out of the release valve opened with a fixed pressure to enable outflow of drug solution and the reservoir 1; and a sub-reservoir 7 provided at the terminal of the drug solution circulating tube 5 to be freely pressed and deformed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
