PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate mounting device capable of optionally rotating two frames without deepening depth in a narrow frame of a liquid crystal display device e.g. of which the three-dimensional shape of the frame should be changed especially at the time of aging inspection and product shipment. SOLUTION: The substrate mounting device has a pair of frames 1, 2 for mounting a substrate and the frames 1, 2 are mutually connected so as to be turned by engaging means 4, 5 and provided with turning regulation means for regulating the turning at a fixed turning angle.
