PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detachable cold insulation cover which allows a piping joint to be immediately disconnected after completion of handling of liquified natural gas using a loading arm. SOLUTION: In the detachable cold insulation cover C1 covering the piping joint 4 in a liquified natural gas receiving line 2, a cold insulator 6 which covers the piping joint 4 is mounted in the interior of a plurality of exterior plates 5 which can be connected arcuately and a delatchable latching member 7 is mounted to the joints of the exterior plates 5 located opposite to one another.
