PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic gasket capable of suppressing occurrence of deformation (a recessed part or the like) caused by local concentration of excessive load on a join face and suppressing deterioration of sealing property with age better than a conventional metallic gasket. SOLUTION: A soft elastic stopper 14 made of an elastic sealing material is arranged for an inner peripheral face of a bead 12 surrounding a bolt hole 3 and an oil hole 5 to be sealed. Height of protrusion of the elastic stopper 14 is set to a position slightly lower than height of adjacent beads 10, 11, 12 to regulate elastic deformation amount of the beads 10, 11, 12. Regulation amount of deformation amount can be adjusted by adjusting arrangement area and height of the elastic stopper 14, and adjustment of arrangement area and height of the elastic stopper 14 is easy.
