PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a folding type portable telephone set easy to assemble and highly reliable. SOLUTION: A flexible cable 100 is laid over a fixed side case 51 and a movable side case 52. The flexible cable 100 is comprised of a spacer section 103 having an internal conductor pattern 102 on the center; a base 104 and an inner upper cover lay 105 vertically holding and wrapping the spacer section 103 therebetween; an upper cover lay 106 and lower cover lay 107 vertically covering the base 104 and the upper cover lay 105; and reinforcing plates 108, 109 for reinforcing both end sides. The spacer section 103 is configured by overlapping a lower spacer 110 having the internal conductor pattern 102 on its upper surface and an upper spacer 111 with each other.
