PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content providing device for reducing the load of computing processing for searching for a presentation object.

SOLUTION: This content providing device is provided with a reference decision model storing part 32 for storing the model of a Bayesian network including a plurality of attribute nodes being presentation objects as a model for reference decision for searching a narrowing-down reference to narrow down the candidates of presentation objects, a reference inference processing part 18 for operating probability inference using the model for reference decision read from the reference decision model storage part 32 to search for the probability distribution of the attribute nodes as the narrowing-down reference of the presentation object, a candidate narrowing-down processing part 20 for narrowing down the presentation objects based on the probability distribution of the attribute nodes searched by the narrowing-down reference inference processing part 18, a presentation object inference processing part 22 for searching a presentation object from the candidates narrowed down by the candidate narrowing-down processing part 20 and a presentation object output processing part 24 for presenting the presentation object selected by the presentation object inference processing part 22.
