TRANSLUCENT DISPLAY MATERIAL, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND MOLDING DIE FOR IN-MOLD COATING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translucent display material which has forming defects reduced while suppressing the reduction of designability though having a light shielding part surrounded by the inside of a translucent part; a manufacturing method thereof; and a molding die for in-mold coating. SOLUTION: A pressing member 11 is provided with a translucent part 12b, an outer light shielding part 13c, and an inner light shielding part 13b surrounded by the inside of the light transmission part 12b. The pressing member 11 comprises a substrate 12 made of a resin having a translucent property and a surface material 13 made of a paint having a light shielding property. The translucent part 12b is constituted of the substrate 12, and the inner light shielding part 13b and the outer light shielding part 13c are constituted of the surface material 13. The inner light shielding part 13b and the outer light shielding part 13c are linked by a bridge part 13d formed on the backside of the substrate 12, and the bridge part 13d is stored in a bridge groove 12c recessed in the backside of the substrate 12 and is placed nearer to a design surface 11a than the backside of the substrate 12, which forms the bridge groove.
