PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay easy to assemble, with high productivity and assembling accuracy, without generating scatter of operation property. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic relay has a separation wall for insulation 11 with almost a U-shaped cross section, opened sideward, formed at a middle part of an almost rectangular-shaped flat base 10, which separates the base 10 into a lower space part 12 and an upper space part 17 opened toward long sides and sideways in opposite directions, respectively, and comprises a contact mechanism part arranged in the lower space part 12; a card 30 rotation freely supported just under an operation hole 11a, driving the contact mechanism part; and an almost L-shaped movable iron piece 50 formed by winding a coil 44 around a spool 41 having flange parts 42, 43 at its side parts, rotation freely supported by an electromagnet block 40, located just above the operation hole 11a. Especially, the electromagnet block 40 is press fitted and fixed to the upper space part 17 of the base 10 by sliding it from side parts in a short side direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
