The device has an internal shaft (6), arranged in a hollow outside shaft (7) with torque data of the shafts provided if the internal shaft is turned around a given angle in relation to the other shaft. An absorption mechanism (6, 19, 23, 24) is provided, with a torsion wave absorbed in relation to the other wave. The internal shaft is made of a torsional vibration-absorbing material and the absorption mechanism is formed totally or partly by the internal shaft. The internal shaft is made of a glass-fiber reinforced material.
