PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing made of an Al alloy as a base material and capable of satisfying familiarity, non-seizure property, and resistance to wear simultaneously. SOLUTION: This sliding bearing has an Sn-Si rich layer 4 made of the Al alloy in which Sn2 and Si3 components have the following area ratio on a slide face side of the base material 1 made of the Al alloy containing no Sn. Area ratio that Sn2 occupies is 6 to 40%, and area ratio that Si3 occupies is 5 to 25% on a surface of the Sn-Si rich layer 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
