PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly perform helium re-liquefying treatment for recovering a helium evaporated in a storage tank in which an extremely low temperature liquid helium is stored, re-liquefying, and returning to the storage tank. SOLUTION: This helium re-liquefying device 20 comprises a purifier 30 having a porous arresting part 325 cooling, solidifying, and arresting impurities in a helium gas, an exhaust gas pump 25 connected to the fluid inlet of the purifier 30, a check valve 50 connected to the fluid outlet of the purifier 30, and a condenser 40 having a liquid reserving part 406 storing the impurities solidified in a condenser body 401 together with a liquid helium.
