PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker which enables the free setting of a disposing position of a connector by slanting a power source basal plate of to reduce a distance to a protection frame from the front side to the rear side at the front side of a main body of a container so that the length of a distributing wire becomes short and the total size can be reduced. SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes the protection frame to form an inner wall, the main body of the container which includes a main body case to form an outer wall, a cover member which is freely opened and closed against the main body of the container, a heating means which is provided between the protection frame and the main body case, a microcomputer basal plate to mount a switch and a display section, and the power source basal plate to mount various electronic parts, wherein the above power source basal plate is constituted to be slanted to reduce the distance to the protection frame from the front side to the rear side at the front side of the main body of the container.
