PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform no reversal treatment of front/back surface relative to tab paper and to smoothly prepare a recorded object by previously preventing generation of failure of conveying of the tab paper when the tab paper is inserted to predetermined page of the recorded object constituted by a plurality of sheets of both surface image recorded papers as insertion paper and when an image such as an index letter is formed on a tab part of the tab paper. SOLUTION: The image recording device 100 successively displays a plurality of images on a display 162 at setting of the image recording condition. When the tab paper 200 is selected as the insertion paper inserted to the predetermined page of the recorded object constituted by a plurality of sheets of normal papers, an insertion paper setting picture G4 is displayed on the display 162. When image recording relative to the tab paper 200 is selected by operation of "do" key 175a on the insertion paper setting picture G4, only one side key 176a is made operable and double-sided key 176b is made to the non-operable state.
