PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous display device of a simple and inexpensive constitution in displaying an outline. SOLUTION: In this display device comprising a pointer-type display unit (first display unit) forming a first luminous display image D1, a luminous display unit (second display unit) 11 for forming a second luminous display image D2, and a transmitting reflecting member 12 mounted between the first and second display units 10, 11 for transmitting the first luminous display image D1 to an observer ob side, and reflecting the second luminous display image D2 to the observer ob side to synthesize and display the first and second luminous display images D1, D2, the pointer type display unit 10 comprises a back light member BL forming the first luminous display image D1, and a reflecting member 93 for forming a third luminous display image D3 by receiving a part of the light forming the second luminous display image D2 and brightening the same.
