PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new cyclodextrin polymer and to provide a measuring method for water contamination level, which is capable of selectively detecting only chlorinated substances contained in water by using the cyclodextrin polymer and which utilizes this sensor function. SOLUTION: The cyclodextrin polymer is derived from at least an amino acid, aminocyclodextrin, hydroxy carbonaphthalene, dicarboxylic acid or its derivative, and a polymer having an amino group.
