PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein decomposition method for decomposing protein constituting jellyfish or its fragment, and to provide an efficient treatment method of jellyfish using the protein decomposition method. SOLUTION: Jellyfish that is caught and separated is strained with a sieve with an opening size of 1 mm and, thereafter, is pulverized with a homogenizer.
