摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated metal plate guaranteeing a film thickness across overall length by online measuring a film thickness of the coated metal plate running on a continuous coating line. SOLUTION: Saturation time until a radiant quantity of a thermal wave IR emitted from a sample mounted off-line by laser irradiation is measured. Then, reference saturation time according to the approximate equation of a calibration curve which is predetermined in relation to the film thickness at each color of a film is compared with saturation time measured this time and the error between the reference saturation time and the saturation time measured this time is calculated. The approximate equation of the calibration curve is corrected by providing an obtained error as a correction value and a next film thickness of the coated metal plate M is online measured according to the approximate equation of the calibration curve after correction.
