<p>The connector for attaching a rigid pipe (7) to a hose (8) or cable comprises a nut (3), inside which an externally threaded press ring (5) and locking ring (6) are mounted. When the nut is fastened on to the press ring it also holds the locking ring against the rigid pipe. An independent claim is included for a method for attaching a rigid pipe to a hose or cable using the connector.</p> |
