<p>The method involves filtering image formation signals (L1,L2 and L3-L5) of the pixel by respective low and high-pass filters to generate primary and secondary filtered signal values. The image information value for interpolated pixel is generated such that image formation signal lies within the interval established by image formation signals, when secondary filtered signal value is greater than half the interval width. An independent claim is also included for pixel interpolation device.</p> |
