The process involves closing a degassing valve (8) of a degas opening (7) and maintaining the valve in closed position, at a temperature of 100 degrees, so that an immediate re-condensation of the vapor is produced inside a hermetically closed package. The re-condensation leads to the creation of an air space, which draws a barrier film (2) in a downward direction till it covers products that are contained in a fruit basket (1). Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a precooked food product package (B) a device for cooking food products (C) an apparatus for cooking products that are packaged in a package.
