<p>A cantilevered vertical shaft type windmill less producing repeated load on a rotating shaft and having advanced vibration stability and low noise property. The vertical shaft type windmill (10) comprises an outer ring side rotating body (17) generating torque by wind force, a cantilevered inner ring side fixed column (14) supporting the outer ring side rotating body (17) through bearings (30a), (30b), and (30c) pivotally supporting a radial force, and the bearings (30a), (30b), and (30c) positioned on the outer ring side rotating body (17) on both sides of the wind pressure center position of the windmill receiving the wind force and pivotally supporting the outer ring side rotating body (17) and the inner ring side fixed column (14).</p> |
