PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blast apparatus, supplying the optimum quantity of grinding material corresponding to the air blowing quantity to perform blasting without staying and pulsation of abrasive brushing material. SOLUTION: Low pressure air of a variable blowing rate fed from a variable-rotating speed rotary blower 42 is fed from a blowing pipeline to a mixing pipe 38, and grinding material discharged from an grinding material tank 23 is supplied to the mixing pipe 38 while the supply quantity thereof being controlled by a grinding material picking device 31. The air mixed with the grinding material is carried from a grinding material transport pipe 24 to a blast nozzle 25 disposed in a blast chamber 26, and an object to be treated is blasted by the grinding material injected from the blast nozzle 25. The air blowing quantity and the supply quantity of grinding material are regulated by controlling the rotating speed of a motor 41 and an grinding material feed motor 55.
