PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial joint capable of preventing the generation of wear powder and improving the adhesion of thigh bone to a stem at an implanting site of the artificial joint to the thigh bone. SOLUTION: An artificial bone 1 comprising a caput 2, a neck 3 following the caput 2, and a stem 4 following the neck 3 is provided. The outer surface of the stem 4 is covered with composite structures 13 formed by surrounding the circumference of core materials 11 arranged regularly and made of a first ceramic material with a coating material 12 made of a material different from the first ceramic material.
