PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed-change controller for an automatic transmission capable of preventing engine racing occurred when a feedback signal vibrates. SOLUTION: The speed-change controller 50 of the automatic transmission has a feedback signal detection means 35 for detecting an engaging side oil pressure for supplying to a hydraulic servo of a friction engaging element of an engaging side based on feedback signal of a solenoid valve of the engaging side, a vibration judgment means 36 for judging that feedback signal detected by the feedback signal detection means 35, in other words, the oil pressure of the engaging side is vibrating. A release delay means 33 of a control means 32 of release side controls oil pressure of a release side so that release action of a friction engaging element of the release side extends when vibration of oil pressure of the engaging side is judged by the vibration judgment means 36.
