PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a relatively large image when reading access point information recorded in a barcode by imaging the information by a camera. SOLUTION: In a two-dimensional barcode, AP information such as ESS-ID and WEP-KEY is recorded for transmission using a radio LAN. The two-dimensional barcode is imaged by using a digital still camera to obtain a two-dimensional barcode image. The AP information is read from the obtained two-dimensional barcode image. Image data are transmitted by the radio LAN using the read AP information. When imaging the two-dimensional barcode, a macro imaging mode is automatically set. The close-up picture of the two-dimensional barcode can be taken, and a relatively large image can be obtained, thus reading the AP information relatively accurately. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
