PURPOSE:To make the efficiency of an apparatus higher by providing a smoothing inductor with a secondary winding and by applying the voltage of said winding to the driving transistor base of A comparator circuit via a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:A self-excited chopper regulator controls an output voltage by controlling the ON-OFF period of a switching transistor(Tr) 5, and is composed of a flywheel diode 9, a smoothing inductor 10, a driving transistor 6, a Zener diode 3 and others. In this case, smoothing is conducted by the primary winding 10a of said smoothing inductor 10 and a secondary winding 10b is provided to take out a voltage and apply a differential waved voltage to both ends of the base resistance 2 of Tr 6 via a capacitor 11. Thus, Tr 5 can be fully turned ON and OFF, even if the ripple value of the output voltage is small. |
