PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage collecting vehicle allowing easy performance of the operation to cast in round timbers to a crusher upon splitting longitudinally. SOLUTION: The garbage collecting vehicle is equipped with the crusher 29 where garbage is crushed into chips and a drum 3 to store the chips fed from the crusher 29 or exhaust on a body frame 1, wherein the arrangement further includes a wood splitting machine 60 to automatically split round timbers longitudinally, a mounting mechanism 50 whereby the wood splitting machine 60 is mounted on the vehicle body frame 1, and a power transmitting means to transmit the power of an engine to the crusher 29 and the wood splitting machine 60.
