MOLD AND INSERT MOLDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage of a mold and the occurrence of a molding inferior product by certainly detecting a state that an insert part is set to the mold and the falling of the insert part on the way of mold closing. SOLUTION: A holding part 33 for setting an insert part and a detection part 4 for detecting the setting of the insert part 2 are provided to either one of the fixed mold and movable mold of the mold 3 for setting the insert part 2 to the molding space formed by the fixed mold 31 and the movable mold 32 to perform insert molding. The holding part receives the insert part fed in from an insert insertion hand 1 to hold the same and a detection part detects that the insert part is set to a predetermined position.
