<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator with a valve, which is capable of maintaining the coating properties so that the coating tip width of a coating tip does not largely widen even if the restoration of wiping off the pigment fixed and piled on the coating tip is implemented in repetition for a long duration on an applicator storing a coating liquid containing a high solid content such as pigment and having the nature of a main solvent evaporating quickly. <P>SOLUTION: This applicator with the valve, in which the coating tip having a coating part composed of a large number of application pieces at the tip is installed in front of an opening part of a vessel having a coating liquid storage chamber in the inside and a valve mechanism is disposed in this coating tip, is characterized in that the length of the application pieces at the periphery at least of the coating part is made to be 7% or more and 45% or less of the maximum width dimension of the coating part and also by that a bellows-like variable bent portion is provided at the rear of the coating part in the coating tip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
