METHOD FOR CONCENTRATING AND/OR EXTRACTING CHARGED MATTER FROM SAMPLE AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for selectively extracting or concentrating an objective charged substance in the presence of an admixture, which extracts or concentrates the charged substance on a micro fluid device.

SOLUTION: The device for concentrating and/or extracting the charged substance comprises a flow channel having an inlet, an outlet and a tapered part between the inlet and the outlet, a power device for impressing a voltage across the tapered part and an apparatus for applying pressure across the tapered part. The tapered part is composed of a part having a first width at the outlet side, a part gradually narrowing from the first width and reaching a second width and a part widening from the second width to a third width.
