<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device which can precisely detect the position of a movable member with low-cost and simple constitution and optical equipment using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The driving device S is equipped with a piezoelectric actuator P, a magnetic field producing member 7 which is integrally added to the movable member 3 of the piezoelectric actuator P and is varied in surface magnetic flux density in the advance/retract direction of the movable member 3, a magnetic field detecting means 6 of detecting a magnetic field produced by the magnetic field producing member 7, and a detecting circuit 8 which finds the position of the movable member 3 based upon the detection signal of the magnetic field detecting means 6. The magnetic field detecting means 6 comprises a 1st magnetic field detecting element 6A and a 2nd magnetic field detecting element 6B which are fixedly arranged side by side nearby the movement path of the magnetic field producing device 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
