PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve refrigerating efficiency and refrigerating capacity in a cold storage type refrigerating machine such as a GM type impulse wave tube refrigerating machine or a GM refrigerating machine with a composition wherein a compression part and a refrigeration part are separated. SOLUTION: The cold storage type refrigerating machine is provided with the compression part 21, the refrigeration part 12 provided with a cold-accumulator 24, a high pressure valve 22 supplying a refrigerant from the compression part 21 to the refrigeration part 12, and a low pressure valve 23 returning the refrigerant from the refrigeration part 12 to the compression part 21. The refrigerating efficiency and the refrigerating capacity are improved at the same time by providing a pressure of the refrigerant supplied from the compression part 21 to the refrigeration part 12 at 2.8MPa or more, and providing a pressure of the refrigerant returned from the refrigeration part 12 to the compression part 21 at 1MPa or more.
