PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structured rolled paper holder, convenient and excellently durable, capable of preventing a user from having a cut even if the user accidentally touches an edge, and allowing the user to cut rolled paper with the simple operation by one hand regardless of the quality or width of the rolled paper. SOLUTION: The rolled paper holder comprises a paper cutting plate with a cutting part for cutting the rolled paper and a support part to be rotatably supported to a holder body for holding the rolled paper. The rolled paper is cut with the cutting part of the paper cutting plate in contact with the rolled paper. The cutting part consists of a band-shaped edge slightly narrower than the cutting plate, and pole-like projections on both sides of the edge. A corner part with a ridge line along the direction of feeding of the rolled paper is formed toward the rolled paper side in each pole-like projection. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
