BACK LIGHT UNIT, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE, AND FRAME MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back light unit on which a frame member can accurately be mounted even if a grooved projection part formed on a housing of a liquid crystal display (LCD) and the back light unit or an upper or lower side plate of a reflecting plate is curved, and to provide the LCD and frame member.

SOLUTION: A groove part 26 is formed along a corner surface 40 of upper and lower frame members 27c and 27d mounted and fixed on the grooved projection part 22 of the housing 21 of the LCD or back light unit 20, or the reflecting plate 24 and even when the groove projection part 22 is pressed to deform, a corner part 38 of the grooved projection part 22 enters the groove part 26 of the frame members 27c and 27d to correct to a reference side the interval between panel ribs 30 and 30 where the external shape of the black light unit 20 and the LCD panel slide to be fixed.
