ESTABLISHED CELL ORIGINATED FROM COTTON RAT STOMACH CANCER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an experimental small animal stomach cancer established cell whose obtainment is difficult.

SOLUTION: The ascites-originated cell of a last stage disease individual found in a naturally high rate stomach tumor-attacked family cotton rat is transplanted and subcultured in the abdominal cavity of the same family animal to proliferate and maintain tumor cells having higher malignancy, and the cells are introduced and cultured in an in vitro culture system to obtain the cloned established cells.
