PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punching blade opening/closing mechanism capable of positioning a punching blade at two places, a releasing position and a punching position, in the opening/closing mechanism of a punching blade for cutting a bulge after pressure welding of materials to each other. SOLUTION: In the opening/closing mechanism of the punching blade 1, there are provided a punching blade rotating shaft 42 that axially supports the punching blade 1 turnably at the releasing position where the punching blade 1 is open and at the punching position where it is closed, a punching blade rotating arm 82 that has a crank pin 83 at a position eccentric from the punching blade rotating shaft 42, and an energizing means (e.g., compression spring 86) that presses a force to the releasing position and the punching position of the punching blade 1 in a manner partitioned by the dead point of the crank pin 83.
