PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for fixing a stoma appliance capable of surely attaching and holding a surface plate on the body regardless of the action of the body, a body shape or the generation of wrinkles, etc., securing adhesion and protecting a stoma projected from the body surface. SOLUTION: The auxiliary tool 5 for fixing the stoma appliance is composed of a belt material 6 for holding the stoma appliance, composed of the surface plate 2 in a ring shape to be fixed to the abdominal part of the body through an adhesive skin protective agent around the stoma formed at the abdominal part and a stoma bag 3 attached to the back surface side of the surface plate 2 for storing excreta, at the abdominal part. The surface plate attaching part of the stoma bag 3 is opened and the belt material 6 is attached to the stoma appliance 1 surrounding the periphery of the attaching part (connection part 3a). The belt material 6 comprises a ring-like projection 9 for pressing the surface plate provided around the attaching part 3a and a wall-like projection 11 for protecting the stoma provided across the attaching part 3a of the belt material 6 on the opposite surface side.
