<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide chlorella powder having no seaweed odor specific to chlorella, generating no pheophorbide and causing no black discoloration. <P>SOLUTION: By adding 1-40 wt.% roasted brown rice embryo bud powder or roasted wheat embryo bud powder to chlorella and also adding 0.1-5.0 wt.% cinnamon powder thereto, the seaweed odor and taste specific to the chlorella are improved and black discoloration in heating and granulation is uncaused and pheophorbide generation can be suppressed. Thereby, the deficiency that the chlorella is, because the chlorella is nutritious, conventionally used as substitutes to green vegetables and as nutrient functional foods but has deficiency in tastes such as seaweed odor specific to chlorella and generates unfavorable ingredient pheophorbide is solved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
