摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery in which occurrence of wrinkles in a current collector is suppressed that may occur in the case an alloy cathode is used, and which is superior in initial charge and discharge performances and in cycle properties. <P>SOLUTION: In the lithium secondary battery provided with an anode, non-aqueous electrolyte material and the cathode in which cathode active material layer 3a is formed on the unevenly formed surface of a cathode current collector 3b, the cathode active material layer 3a is composed of a material that is alloyed with lithium, while the thickness (&mu;m) of the cathode active material layer 3a/ten points average coarseness Rz (&mu;m) of the cathode current collector 3b is 0.5 or more and 4 or less, and the tensile strength (N/mm<SP>2</SP>) of the cathode current collector 3b at 25&deg;C&times;cathode current collector base thickness (mm)/thickness (&mu;m) of the cathode active material layer 3a is 2 or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
