<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon nanotube-containing composition which can make carbon nanotube dispersible or dissolvable into a solvent without deteriorating characteristics of the carbon nanotube, can prevent carbon nanotube from separating or aggregating even after storing for a long period of time, is excellent in conductivity, film-formability, and moldability, can be applied and covered on a substrate by a convenient method, and gives a coating film excellent in water resistance, weatherability and hardness, to provide a complex having a coating film comprising this composition, and to provide methods for manufacturing them, and a method for evaluating physical properties of the carbon nanotube using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: This carbon nanotube-containing composition comprises (a) an electrically conductive polymer having an ammonium salt of a sulfonic acid group and/or an ammonium salt of a carboxylic acid group, (b) a solvent and (c) carbon nanotube.
