PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable rapidly resuming viewing of a program at an interrupted point by using a device different from a device used to view the program until then after interrupting the program. SOLUTION: Upon start receiving television broadcast in response to an operation of a user, a cellular phone transmits broadcast specifying information capable of specifying a broadcast station to a personal computer (hereinafter referred to as PC). The PC starts video recording on the basis of the broadcast station specifying information. In the cellular phone, even when a receiving channel is switched, the cellular phone transmits the broadcast station specifying information, and the PC switched a program to be recorded. If the cellular phone stops receiving the television broadcast, it causes an external storage medium to store a reception stop time. When the external storage medium is attached, the PC reads the reception stop time, and reproduces the recorded program at the point corresponding to the reception stop time.
