PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a margin for the heat resistant temperature of a fixing member even by any paper passage method that does not match paper passage criteria. SOLUTION: Switching to small size use/fixed throughput is carried out under such condition that a length in a conveyance direction is a small size (Lp<260 mm) and the temperature of a sub-thermister does not increase with respect to a main thermister (ΔTs=+10°).
